The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the world upside down. For the poor and working poor COVID-19 has magnified hardships that they face every day. The legal matters they had have not disappeared during times of stress and uncertainty. In fact, Covid-19 has caused more people than ever to seek legal remedies for their situations. Their legal needs must still be dealt with.
A huge number of Americans find themselves between a rock and a hard-place. They make too much money to qualify for free legal services, but they don’t make enough to pay an attorney.
As with many things in their lives these people just go without… Mom and baby go without child support, Dad goes without visitation, Grandma, who takes in grandkids, goes without temporary custody…
In keeping with the spirit of our patron saint, St. Michael’s Legal Center for Women and Children defends the weak and protects the vulnerable. We are the last resort for those with few options, and we consider ourselves blessed to be able to help those that others won’t…but we can’t do it alone, we need your support.
Please consider a onetime annual donation of $150.00, $250.00, $350.00 or another amount of your choosing, or a sustaining donation of $30.00 per month.
